SUPPORT

Proven Intermediate Level Maintenance Activity (MALS-39): Commanding Officer; 1,800 Marines (active duty / 3d MAW, Fleet Marine Force).  Two (2) consecutive years #1 of 5 MALS in 3d Marine Aircraft Wing across all performance, operational, and execution metrics for aviation logistics maintenance and supply readiness in direct support of flying organizational level Fleet squadrons.  Provided direct and indirect aviation logistics support for over 31,000 OCONUS (combat) flight hours and over 61,000 CONUS (training) flight hours.  UH-1Y and AH-1Z IOC, Fleet Introduction Team (stand-up and First aircraft), FOT&E.

Product Support Elements (PSE)

We support the analyses of specified systems and sub-systems; we assess the factors impacting supportability and sustainability of the systems. Our SMEs quantify the scope and nature of the support and sustainment required to meet specific operational requirements. Synergy supports:

  1. Maintenance Planning and Management

  2. Technical Data

  3. Supply Support

  4. Support Equipment

  5. Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation

  6. Manpower and Personnel

  7. Training and Training Support

  8. IT Systems Continuous Support

  9. Facilities and Infrastructure

  10. Design Interface

  11. Sustaining Engineering

  12. Product Support Management

We utilize quantitative and qualitative methodologies to analyze and assess the impact of program shortfalls and provide options to mitigate, correct, and/or remove identified support and sustainment inhibitors.

Logistics Risk Management

Synergy starts risk management up-front in early stages of project planning then continues
throughout the total life cycle of the project(s). Risk management is most effective if it is fully integrated with overall operations and program management as a catalyst for root cause analysis and risk mitigation.

Customer Support

Synergy will provide full spectrum Integrated Product Support Elements management, logistics, and logistics engineering for Customer Support Teams (CSTs), other authorized support, and sustainment representatives. Support will include Customer support, performance of CST technical activities, data management, and Logistics Engineering development. The CST provides life-cycle logistics and systems engineering support for systems. These systems include a wide variety of associated support equipment. Legacy systems used across industries have been in Customers’ service for many years. Many of these systems are mission critical for the platforms that use them. These systems require long term support and sustainment to ensure successful Customer requirements execution throughout the service lives of the platforms and systems.

Logistics Information Technology

Synergy brings over 29 years of experience to high performing organizations that depend
on information technology (IT) to achieve measurable and significant success in their core mission areas despite stringent cost, schedule, and infrastructure constraints. Our professionals have a proven track record of designing network architectures that take full advantage of leading-edge hardware and software components to meet customer requirements.

Software Solutions

We provide software applications that encompass a range of capabilities, from simple document control to a comprehensive Integrated Data Environment (IDE), and to custom .NET solutions that integrate with SharePoint.

SUSTAINMENT

Proven Depot Level Maintenance Activity (FRC-EAST): Commanding Officer, $1.3 Billion Annual Revenue; Two (2) consecutive years #1 of 3 Naval Aviation Enterprise’s Depots across all Performance and Operational Metrics; over 4,000 personnel (~1,200 Engineers, ~2,000 Artisans, ~800 Support Personnel) in partnership with five (5) different labor unions.  Execution of 14 million labor hours; delivered 364 military aircraft; 354 aircraft engines; 63,770 aviation components,  aircraft gearboxes and transmissions.  125 proto-type events to develop new repair capabilities; reduced work order cycle time by 42% in less than 12 months); yielded decreased production turnaround times across all product lines with 61% of excess aircraft work-in-progress reduced to optimum levels (in less than 12 months); saved consecutive $60 million per year under the established annual budget limits.

Logistics Requirements

Synergy supports the requirements analysis, validation and verification for platform Logistics and system data. Synergy establishes database structures that produce full traceability of all requirements throughout the acquisition life cycle. This enables requirements analysis, validation, and verification support to develop, characterize, review, coordinate and link related requirements, product support elements, and test plans critical to platforms and systems capabilities.

Logistics Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RM&A)

Synergy provides Integrated Logistics support and sustainment to ensure systems, subsystems, equipment, components, and associated platforms’ RM&A requirements are integrated with system design, development, and life cycle sustainment requirements. Our end-state metric results are measured in Logistics capabilities that function effectively when required, detect and correct design deficiencies, assess weak parts, and identify workmanship defects that affect implemented functionality.

Logistics Engineering

SYNERGY maintains a thorough understanding of the DOD Acquisition and Life Cycle Logistics process, inclusive of the Integrated Defense Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Life Cycle Management System. We provide Integrated Logistics Product Support Elements and Sustainment for the design, development, test, evaluation, and engineering related to systems, subsystems, equipment, components, and their associated platforms.

Logistics Integration

Our Logistics engineers may provide classified and unclassified Logistics and technical services to resolve fielding concerns with platform and system(s) acquisition requirements. They may provide Logistics engineering and technical services to assist in the definition of functional and operator system interfaces specifications for system(s).

Cyber Security

Our Cyber Security tasks cover information assurance availability, identification and authentication, confidentiality, integrity, non-repudiation, and continuity.  It also includes economic considerations with respect to selection of techniques, processes, and industry trends in applying current Cyber Security technologies.
